Alina Habba Looked So Different Before She Joined Trump's Team

These days, Alina Habba is the statuesque beauty known for offering legal counsel to President Donald Trump and serving as a senior advisor to his campaign. But she once lived a relatively private life as a lawyer and mother in New Jersey. She wasn't a nobody, of course; Habba clerked for a New Jersey Superior Court judge and founded her own law firm. But her relationship with Trump — she represented him in several civil cases, including E Jean Carroll's sexual assault lawsuit — catapulted her into the national spotlight. It appears Habba has gotten a makeover to match her new high-profile career.

Habba looks distinctly different in older photos. Instagram shots from 2021 reveal just how much the attorney's look has changed since joining Trump's team. Habba has always been gorgeous, but the images showcase a more natural makeup style; her cheekbones are striking but not severe, and her lips have a natural fullness.

Since then, Habba's look has evolved to more directly resemble the beauty styles favored by many of the women in Trump's orbit. Most notably, her makeup is significantly heavier, with dramatic contouring and darkly shadowed eyes. An evening beauty look for daytime might be a faux pas in some circles, but it's one of the biggest makeup mistakes that women in the Trump family make, so Habba fits right in. While Habba hasn't confirmed whether she's had plastic surgery, it appears she's traded her girl-next-door beauty for the uncanny Mar-a-Lago face.

Evolving her beauty look might be a conscious strategy for Alina Habba, who hasn't shied away from admitting that her looks have helped bolster her career. "It's been something I have had to deal with in the positive and in the negative," she said during a 2024 appearance on the "PBD Podcast." "I don't think I'd be on TV or sitting here if I didn't look the way I look. I think I caught attention, I'm very honest about that, and I don't mind."

So while Habba has never admitted to any surgical enhancements, it's not hard to fathom she might have embraced a few cosmetic procedures in the name of getting ahead at work. In particular, her cheekbones appear to have gotten more prominent over the years. "She may have had a buccal fat removal to create more hollowed cheeks and more defined cheekbones and jawline," said Dr. Dan Yamini in a 2024 interview with The List. He also suggested that the sharper definition of her nose hints at a rhinoplasty, and her perfectly smooth skin is likely the product of fillers. Plenty of celebrities are owning up to their cosmetic tweaks; still, Habba has been tight-lipped about her beauty secrets — at least for now.
