Brittany Mahomes Looks So Different Without Her Signature Lip Fillers

Brittany Mahomes is no gatekeeper when it comes to how she gets her plump lips. After being asked about her favorite cosmetic procedure during a 2023 Instagram Q&A session with her followers, the football WAG responded, "Filler in my lips" (via The Kansas City Star). Indeed, the XL kisser has become a big part of Mahomes' signature look, as she regularly incorporates gloss and lip-liner to make them appear even larger. As you can probably imagine, this star looked totally different before getting the injections.

In a 2018 Instagram upload, Mahomes can be seen filler-free in a snap that shows her flashing a smile while holding a baby. At the time the photo was taken, her upper lip was noticeably thinner compared to now, while her gums were on display above her white teeth. It seems the star also hadn't yet adopted her signature lip liner application technique, as she wasn't wearing obvious lipstick or lip gloss. In fact, Mahomes was showing us how flawless she looks without makeup. Compare that to a snap of her taken on the sidelines of Kansas City Chiefs game – where the WAG is often spotted supporting her husband, Patrick Mahomes — in 2024, and it was clear she'd altered her lips. Not only had she added serious volume via filler, she was also wearing a pink-y/red lipstick and complimentary lip liner to make her pout look plumper.

In the later snap, Mahomes' gums weren't visible as she smiled. In an Instagram video breaking down the beauty treatments Mahomes may have gotten, former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" Dr. Jennifer Armstrong explained her covered gums could be down to injectables. "Gummy smiles like this can be corrected easily with a few units of [Botox]," she wrote in the caption. In the video, she noted Botox can help lower the upper lip.

For those looking to emulate Brittany Mahomes' signature pout via cosmetics, you're in luck. The celeb's makeup artist Bex Pichelmann has revealed how she accentuates the fitness fanatic's filler-filled lips. In a 2024 Instagram post, Pichelmann shared she mixed Mac lipsticks in the shades Peach Blossom and Delish lipsticks and applied NYX's Slim Lip Pencil around the outer area to define her kisser. She made the look glossy by adding Patrick Ta's Major Glow Lip Shine in the shade She's Expensive. But they're not the only products Pichelmann has applied Mahomes' mouth. In an early 2025 post, she changed things up while doing the WAG's glam and used Morphe's Color Pencil in Backseat Love with Lip Comfort Oil from Clarins in 01 Honey for a glossy finish. Though Mahomes has made some makeup mistakes over the years (in addition to a Republican makeup fail), those faux pas certainly didn't feature in these looks.

Stocking up on the Texan's go-to makeup products is sure to be cheaper than getting her lip fillers, though. Beverly Hills facial plastic surgeon Dr. Patrick Davis spoke to Nicki Swift about how much Mahomes may spend on lip filler, which usually needs topping up every six to 12 months. "Filler and Botox can be upwards of $1-2K per visit," Dr. Davis said. But, with Marca reporting the star is worth $15 million, we're guessing she's good for it.
