Kimberly Guilfoyle Is Nearly Unrecognizable Without Her Trademark Hair Extensions

Kimberly Guilfoyle has quite the distinctive look. The former prosecutor-turned-U.S.-ambassador-to-Greece nominee is as notorious for her uber-glam aesthetic as her outspoken opinions — and that includes her extra long, voluminous hair extensions. We first noticed Donald Trump Jr.'s former flame  experimenting with the hair accessories around 2009 when she stepped out for the Douglas Hannant Spring 2010 Collection Presentation. Her dark, glossy locks finished over her chest and had plenty of volume at the roots, which is usually a sign a few extra strands have been added. Since then, her extensions have only become longer and thicker, to the point she looks nearly unrecognizable without them.

Guilfoyle appeared to be sans-extensions in 2005 when she attended the GLAAD Media Awards with her dark, toffee brown locks styled in a sleek bob with a deep side part. The star was ahead of her time with the style, as she was rocking the bell-bottom bob that became the flippy and flirty haircut of the moment almost two decades later. In the throwback photo, she looked drastically different without inch-after-inch of hair extensions covering her torso and back. It reminded us of how unrecognizable Guilfoyle looked in photos taken before her Trump days.

The GLAAD awards appearance wasn't the only time Kimberly Guilfoyle had a hair transformation that made her look unrecognizable. One year later in 2006, she attended a Marc Jacobs fashion show as part of New York Fashion Week while pregnant with her son, Ronan Anthony Villency, wearing hair that could have left her mistaken for someone else . The former Fox News star wore her extension-free locks in a chic lob with a side part for a more natural vibe, demonstrating why we're begging Guilfoyle to give up on the cringey beauty trend of overdone extensions. The 'do was several inches shorter and nowhere near as full as the trademark style she'd go on to sport as a staunch supporter of Donald Trump's presidency, which she showed off in 2024 Facebook selfie.

Guilfoyle hasn't publicly copped to wearing hair extensions, but there's certainly no shame in adding some extra bulk or length to your locks. Countless famous faces rely on the hair helpers, and so many of our favorite celebs also look basically unrecognizable without their extensions. The mane additions have actually become part of the MAGA staple look too, as U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem looks so different ditching her extensions as well.
