Julia Stiles Has Aged So Gracefully Since Her Rom-Com Queen Days

Julia Stiles has come a long way career-wise since her first big break in the 1999 hit movie, "10 Things I Hate About You." And 25 years later, she somehow manages to look almost exactly like her younger self. At the time of the filming, Stiles was just 17 years old, and now that she's 44, the mom of three is still stunning. In a February interview on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," she recalled, "I read the script for '10 Things I Hate About You,' and this part, Kat Stratford, was like, feisty and outspoken, and she didn't care what people thought. So it really spoke to me." With Stiles's luminescent blonde hair giving her a glow up, the "Save the Last Dance" star looked gorgeous with just a hint of makeup on her flawless skin. A fan shared, "Wow Julia is still the same. Love that she never changed her looks and she still looks youthful. And she is still so well spoken and acts classy. Love Julia."

Stiles is smart when it comes to her beauty routine and knows how to adjust her skincare to cater to mature skin. "I broke out in my 20s all the time ... Now that I'm in my 30s, I'm all about anti-aging, wrinkle prevention," she told Into the Gloss back in 2019. Aside from managing the occasional pimple, Stiles also dealt with body image issues in her earlier acting days, and one A-list star known for her smile gave the "Bourne Identity" actor some invaluable advice.

Julia Stiles learned how to gain confidence with age

Another iconic role of Julia Stiles's was "Mona Lisa Smile," which she starred in alongside Julia Roberts, who has had some iconic hair looks. Stiles revealed on the "How To Fail" podcast that as she was dealing with body image issues, the "Notting Hill" star took the young woman under her wing. "She was an amazing example for us, and she was so maternal with all the young women on that set. She was coming from a lot of experience of being not just a woman, but also a woman where your appearance is focused on so heavily," Stiles shared. She continued, "[Roberts] said to us, 'You're going to look back on these photos of you in your 20s and be like, I was beautiful, why didn't I see that?' And she's totally right!"

Now, Stiles is making her mark behind the camera with her first directorial debut for the romance film, "Wish You Were Here." Looking gorgeous and confident, she shared a pic of herself standing next to another Y2K superstar, Vanessa Carlton, who created the movie's soundtrack with her husband, John McCauley. "Magical combination!" a fan raved.
