Rachael Ray & Husband John Are Unrecognizable In Sweet Throwback Snap

Fans of Rachael Ray know that her ride-or-die is her husband, John Cusimano, and were treated to cameos of him on her eponymous show during which he whipped up his signature cocktails. The two had been married since 2005, and they proved just how much time flies in a sweet pic from their much-younger days that had them looking unrecognizable. In September 2019, Ray gave her hubby some love in an Instagram post that showed the two sharing a kiss. "John and I make sense. We don't care when we eat, we care that we eat together. And we've been together, this John and this Rachael, every day since the day we met. And that's something. It's a lot. And some days, it's everything," the professional cook gushed on their anniversary.

Ray and Cusimano revealed how they met at a friend's birthday party and bonded over being shorter than the rest of the crowd in a 2020 episode of the "Rachael Ray Show." Cusimano joked, "I like to say we saw each other among a sea of knees. Ray added, "And we crossed a crowded room and started talking, and we have talked every day since we met." Unlike the glaring red flags we can't look away from in Candace Cameron Bure's marriage, Ray and Cusimano seem to be a solid team and declared their love for each other in front of friends and family for the second time, 10 years after saying, "I do."

Rachael Ray and John celebrated their marriage with a gorgeous Italy trip

Rachael Ray and John Cusimano looked like young lovebirds again during their 2015 vow renewal at the same Italian castle where they got married the first time. During the ceremony, Ray read aloud the poem, "All the Whiskey in Heaven" by Charles Bernstein as a nod to her husband's love of Scotch, per People. "It basically says, 'Under any circumstance, I would still choose you and I would still be with you. And I love you more than all the whiskey in heaven,'" she told the outlet. Ray continued, "In knowing my husband, there wasn't a dry eye in the house."

When locking down her relationship with Cusimano, Ray didn't have to worry about life hurdles, such as having starkly different politics than her partner. "I love my husband, John, and John works with me and has built our business and our brand together, but we agreed in concept about service to community, service to the world, service to animals, to children," she said on her podcast, "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead." Ray is also lucky that Cusimano doesn't exhibit the red flag that he's emotionally unavailable. "I am very wildly, wildly, wildly lucky that I have my husband. But he understands I need my space. He needs his space," she said in the first episode.
