Kaitlan Collins Has Shown Off Her Lethal Legs More Than Once

Although Kaitlan Collins has been at CNN since 2017, it's only been in the last few years that's she's become a standout figure at the network. While a lot of that has to do with the fact that she doesn't fear going head-to-head with President Donald Trump, doing her best to expose his endless array of lies, she's also proven herself to be really charming and just a cool, down-to-earth person. After all, not many news anchors' go-to work shoe choice are sneakers — even when the cameras are on.

While Collins, like everyone, has worn a few things that missed the mark (most notably her outdated chevron look), for the most part she knows how to dress for every event. Collins also knows how to highlight her assets and one of those happens to be her lethal legs. Considering the chaos of her job, it's safe to assume that Collins has a regular workout routine that she sticks to that helps her stay healthy and ready for anything. "When Trump took office, it didn't matter if you'd covered the White House for 10 years or 10 minutes," Collins told InStyle in November 2024. "No one knew what to expect. ... When someone gets fired and you see three TV reporters running out to the cameras in front of the White House, we are looking at each other like, 'Here we go again!'"

Whether she's casual in shorts or dolled up for an event, Collins has shown off her fantastic legs more than once. In fact, her legs are proof that sometimes running around to cover the whims of the president actually pays off.

In December 2024, Kaitlan Collins attended the 47^th Kennedy Center Honors at The Kennedy Center and shook things up by wearing an adorable black and white minidress. While Collins always nails her looks when she attends the Kennedy Center Honors, this particular choice allowed her to show off her legs, but still remain within the realm of prim and proper, as is likely expected at the venue. Not only was the short dress a leap from her usual full-length looks, but it also had what appeared to be a black satin bow on the back. Collins completed the outfit with black kitten heels, a small black bag, and minimalist jewelry.

When Kaitlan Collins hit up "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in August 2024, she took another opportunity to show off her stunning legs. Dressed in a black sheath that hit just below the knee with buttons down the front and a belt to highlight her figure, Collins came off as relaxed and confident — sometimes a little leg can do that. Collins topped off the entire look with gold kitten heels that perfectly matched the details on her dress, as well as her gold earrings, really bringing it all together in a chic and fabulous way. 

While not everyone can pull off the double breasted look, whether it be as a blazer or, as it is here, a dress, Kaitlan Collins proves she certainly can. Rocking a white minidress in Central Park surrounded by six dogs, Collins wrote in the caption of the May 2024 Instagram post, "When you take the whole dog fostering thing too seriously." 

Clearly, the news anchor was just having some fun with a friends' dogs, because with her schedule, fostering one dog would be tricky enough, let alone six. Although her nails aren't very visible, an on-trend French manicure could have brought an extra dash of color to the ensemble.

Kaitlan Collins has shown time and time again that she's more of a casual person than one who wants to fuss over frills, and no place was that more evident than in a report she did in August 2019 from her sister's front lawn. Not only did Collins film the segment in denim short-shorts, but she was also barefoot and standing on a wooden box to add more height in front of the cameras. Collins paired the cutoffs with a simple red-orange T-shirt. To no surprise, the comments on this post were all over the place, with foot fetishists and foot play fans rejoicing at the glimpse of her toes.

On April 28, 2025, Kaitlan Collins posted a series of photos on Instagram that included pictures from the White House Correspondents' Dinner, as well as a few other events. In one of the photos Collins is wearing a white miniskirt, white top, and a white cropped blazer with green embellishments. While posing under her CNN photo and that of Wolf Blitzer too, Collins has a cocktail in one hand and a small Chanel handbag in the other. It's definitely one of her most leggy looks which she completed by embracing the Mary Jane shoe trend in white with sparkling details.
