Lili Reinhart Is Beyond Gorgeous Rocking Her Hair's Natural Texture

On "Riverdale," we saw Lili Reinhart sport a handful of hairstyles, but her most iconic has to be Betty Cooper's straight, slicked-back ponytail. In real life, though, even though her tresses have the most gorgeous texture, she's a celebrity you probably didn't know has naturally curly hair.

Reinhart has shown her stunning curls on a few occasions, including in a 2021 Instagram selfie that left our jaws on the floor. Though the star wore a pink bandana, her blond ringlets cascaded down her left side, proving she has the most enviable curl pattern with plenty of volume. Fans flooded the comments, with one person telling her, "I love your hair."

The tight curls reminded us of when Reinhart treated us to another peek at her natural look in an Instagram Story from 2019. That time, the star revealed her tresses had been lightly styled to make them slightly sleeker, but wrote alongside her selfie (via PopSugar), "Literally no curling iron used. This is my natural curl, finessed to perfection by @brycescarlett." She also wore her mane the way it grows in an early 2025 Instagram selfie taken in a hospital room, which showed her curly locks pulled back into a messy bun. Even with her tresses up, though, her desirable curls and flattering texture were still obvious, and she looked naturally beautiful.

Unfortunately, like so many of us, constant styling has left Lili Reinhart dealing with the telltale signs of hair damage. She told Glamour, heat is applied to her natural texture every day, and that can lead to everything from dry strands to pesky split ends. Even when hot tools are used without frying the hair, it's still a good idea to take a break from them every so often to protect your locks.

Fortunately, Reinhart knows how important putting moisture back into her natural curls is. "My hair is damaged as hell from being on my show and just from heat styling in general. So I try to take really good care of my hair," she told Allure, sharing her favorite products include Shu Uemura's Ultimate Reset Extreme Repair Hair Mask and Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Repairing Hair Treatment. She explained the latter, "I definitely sleep in that one. I'll put it in my hair when I go to the beach because, for some reason, I feel like the sun will penetrate into my hair." 

Reinhart has also shared how much she loves embracing her curls, particularly during photoshoots. "It's nice to bring out the diffuser and let my natural hair texture come out rather than blowing it dry and straightening it out," the "Hustlers" actor told Glamour. And, although she looks beyond gorgeous either way, we'd sure love to see her curls more often.
