Michelle Pfeiffer Is Still So Stunning Going Makeup Free
Michelle Pfeiffer is the definition of ageless beauty. The star looks just as beautiful as she did when she shot to fame in "Scarface" in 1983 and we can confirm her breathtaking look isn't all down to clever editing and makeup.
In April 2025, Pfeiffer went bare faced for an Instagram selfie shared to her millions of followers. In the photo, she can be seen posing with her pets, but her piercing eyes took center stage. Even without eyeliner on her upper lid or waterline, Pfeiffer's light blue irises stood out. It was clear from the shot the actor is blessed in the skin department, too. Her complexion glowed with a slight shine on her forehead, where she barely had any fine lines or signs of dry skin (even though she was 66 at the time!). Pfeiffer told Oprah Daily in 2021 she hadn't changed her skincare routine in a decade, which means she likely doesn't mix up her skincare order, either — and it showed. This flawless star looked hydrated and well-rested with no dark undereye circles or bags, and we couldn't get over how well-manicured her eyebrows were. One fan commented, "Gorgeous" under the "Dangerous Liaisons" actor's post. Another wrote in the comments section, "Dang, you look better than ever, and that's really saying something!"
Looking as good au naturel as Pfeiffer does, it's not a surprise that makeup-free photos have become a regular feature on her social media. A month before sharing the aforementioned post, she sent another Instagram upload that depicted her going foundationless again and looking absolutely ravishing. In this snap, Pfeiffer's blond locks were unkempt as she rested her head on her bent elbow while sitting on the sofa. Her lips looked hydrated and her skin was clearly well-maintained, as she didn't have a single imperfection, redness, or hyperpigmentation patch. "Absolutely beautiful! Pure natural beauty," one fan wrote.
Michelle Pfeiffer embraces aging
Part of why Michelle Pfeiffer still looks so gorgeous without makeup, much like her "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" co-star Angelina Jolie, may be because of how she's so proudly a celebrity who has confronted aging with confidence. "I certainly see that I've changed. I just try not to dwell on it. Aging happens to every single one of us. Once you accept that it unburdens you," she told InStyle in 2006 (via gorgeouspfeiffer.com). However, the California native shared she'd considered getting a facelift before, but decided against it. "When I'm rested, taking good care of myself, exercising, happy, I think I look pretty darn OK," she said, explaining she was no longer entertaining the idea of the plastic surgery procedure.
Pfeiffer also shared her refreshing take on aging with Oprah Daily, explaining she'd let go of the pressure many younger people feel to look a certain way. "You reach a threshold where you're fine with looking good for your age instead of looking young for your age, and I've crossed it. Would I like to look the way I did in my early 30s? You bet, but that's not going to happen, and I don't feel the same pressure I once did to do so. It's quite a relief, honestly," she said. The "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" star also had an important mantra we could all learn from, pointing out attractiveness isn't all physical. "Confidence is all about attitude," she rightly shared.
