Angela Norris From Landman Is Gorgeous In Real Life

If you've been watching "Landman," you might have found yourself hooked on the very dysfunctional yet fun-to-watch relationship between Angela and Tommy Norris. Despite being divorced, Angela gives Tommy a run for his money with her attitude, and does it all while always being dressed to the nines and with hair that's never seen a bad day in its life. In other words, Angela Norris is a knockout and a half.

While you're knee-deep in the drama of their relationship, set against the backdrop of West Texas, you might have realized that this isn't your first run-in with Ali Larter, the actress who portrays Angela Norris. In fact, you might recognize her from her iconic, albeit brief role in "Legally Blonde," as well as her film debut in 1999's "Varsity Blues," where she famously wore a whipped cream bikini for her high school football boyfriend, played by James Van Der Beek. Larter has also done a handful of horror films and was in the NBC series "Heroes" from 2006 to 2010. She's been around, paid her dues, and now she gets to play Angela Norris.

So what does Ali Larter look like when she's stripped of all that makeup, the perfect hair, and those sexy outfits? Just like her on-screen daughter Ainsley Norris, she's stunning in real life.

Ali Larter is more sophisticated in real life

As well as Ali Larter plays Angela Norris, in her real life, Larter is far less invested in the mob wife aesthetic and more effortlessly sophisticated. While Norris wouldn't think twice about wearing a skin-tight, low-cut leopard print dress to a casual event, Larter keeps things more classic, opting for pieces that never go out of style, like loafers, blazers, and white button-down shirts.

"[Angela is] a total spitfire," Larter tells Elle about her "Landman" character. "You see her going to the bar, and she wants the attention ... She thinks of her job as going to the gym and looking great. But you're also watching the reverse engineering of a trophy wife, someone who's had all this and is coming back to where she belongs." Larter loves the character's fearless embrace of her sexuality, she adds. But the star's real life style tends more toward easy street style and quiet luxury. On the red carpet, Larter is the queen of the elegant and versatile little black dress, often opting for simple column gowns or a great bodycon outfit.

Larter is grateful for the opportunity to play Angela Norris, she tells Elle. "It's very rare that you get to a place in your career [in Hollywood] where you get the pick of the litter, and you get to make any movie you want," Larter says. "When something does connect with an audience, it's this overwhelming feeling of gratitude and joy — because you never know when it's going to." Not only are audiences connecting with Larter's portrayal of Norris, but we're loving the evolution of a character that's on her way to being iconic.
