Here's how you can use flowers and succulents to add festive cheer to any holiday setting.

In partnership with Bloom2Bloom.

For me, there doesn't have to be a special reason to spruce up my home with special touches. I love having fresh flowers and greenery to bring life and style into each space.

When my business partner Laurenne and I founded our flower brand Bloom2Bloom, we did so with that in mind in hopes of making it easy to add fashion-forward, sustainable flowers into everyday life.

However, the holidays present a fun excuse to kick it up an extra notch! Especially as a new Mom, holiday decorating can seem daunting; but when I can creatively use and even repurpose flowers and succulents, it becomes a fun, easy way to create a standout holiday look.

Here are 5 tips for using greens to make this holiday season special:

1. Make centerpieces that dazzle by breaking up a Bloom2Bloom bouquet.

Centerpieces are my favorite decoration to creatively style. They set the mood for a dinner party and are the focal point of the table.

While you can definitely use a full bouquet as a centerpiece, it's fun to break the blooms up into smaller vases for a more dynamic look. One bouquet can turn into several small bunches, which is great because then you can see your guests across the table.

2. Incorporate eucalyptus around the home.

I love using eucalyptus as a decorative accent during the holidays because they stay fresh in a vase for long periods of time.

It's easy to put an arrangement of eucalyptus together before guests arrive and you don't have to worry about them dying or drying out during the holiday party.

3. Even use eucalyptus to garnish your food!

Eucalyptus is also great for food garnish that can spice up any meal and make it look fancy and expensive. I always accent my holiday meal with eucalyptus on each guest's plate.

4. Style with succulents too.

I host an annual New Years party at my house and love using potted succulents to decorate the interior of my home. Using a variety of colors during New Years is great and something you can't really utilize during Christmas.

5. Give a gift that gives back.

While I love using flowers and succulents for my own home, I also love that they are a perfect gift for friends and family to take to their own homes.

If I spend the holidays at a relative's or friend's home instead of hosting, I love gifting the host with a succulent because they are low maintenance gifts that anyone can appreciate. A special aspect of Bloom2Bloom that is close to my heart is that proceeds from each purchase go back to a great cause, Wish Upon A Teen which redesigns hospital rooms of a terminally ill teens.
