Sure, you can recognize Madge's songs. But can your recognize her movies?
Madonna was born Madonna Louise Ciccone on August, 1968 in Bay City, Michigan. Her parents, Madonna Louise and Silvio Anthony, were devout Catholics, with her mother being of French-Canadian ancestry and her father being the son of emigrants from Italy. She has two older brothers, whose names are Anthony and Martin, and three younger siblings who are called Paula, Christopher and Melanie. After the early death of her mother, Madonna turned to her paternal grandmother for support and even grew to resent her father for marrying their housekeeper, Joan. Madonna expressed her feelings through rebellion, and eventually dropped out of college and moved to New York City, where she hoped to make it as a dancer. She worked as a waitress at Dunkin’ Donuts and also with a number of dance troupes to make a living. After a while in New York City, she became a backup dancer and backup singer for other established artists. Her first single “Everybody” was released in 1982 after she signed a deal with Sire records, which was the first in a long, extensive list of successful hits. Some of the biggest Madonna songs include “Like a Virgin”, “Like a Prayer”, “Girl Gone Wild”, “Papa Don’t Preach”, “4 Minutes”, “Open Your Heart”, “Express Yourself”, “Live to Tell”, “Justify My Love”, “Take a Bow”, “Don’t Tell Me”, “Ray of Light”, “Deeper and Deeper”, “Beautiful Stranger”, “Holiday” and “Give Me All Your Luvin’”.
