Before heading out to your polling place, do a quick Google search for "see my ballot" and you can see EVERYTHING that you have the opportunity to vote on this year. Often times people turn in ballots with simply the presidential selection filled out, when there are SO many other important positions and laws that you have the opportunity to vote on. Take advantage of it, because many of them can and will impact your daily life!

Every state has very different rules when it comes to what you need to bring day of to vote, when you need to be there, etc. Make sure you do your research before you go to ensure that you only have to make one trip!

Vote For Who YOU Believe In

No matter who your parents, your boss, your friends, your spouse, or anyone else is voting for, do your own research and come to your own conclusions. It is so easy to get tricked into believe that you support everything that your Facebook timeline believes, but don't let that Facebook algorithm fool you. You have access to information on each candidate, and it is your right and your duty to do some research before you vote, and to vote for who you generally believe will do the best job.

At the end of the day, we are truly blessed with the right to vote here in the United States. Not every country guarantees that right. Your voice DOES matter, and CAN make a difference, no matter where you live.
