Late last night, Fifth Harmony announced on twitter that Cabello is officially Miss Moving On... from the group that is.
"After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well."
The group continued by recognizing their supporters: "You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you've supported us, you've rejoiced and cried with us, you've grown with us, and with your love and support, we will continue on."
The group shared with fans that the remaining four members, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui, will remain together as Fifth Harmony.
"We are excited for our future, and we can't wait for what the new year brings. Harmonizers, we are in this together. We love you with all of our hearts."
Just hours before the announcement, Cabello performed with the group at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour in Florida.
Fifth Harmony formed after the second season of The X Factor USA in 2012, where all five members of the group auditioned individually. They have since put out two albums, 2015’s Reflection and this year’s 7/27, plus an EP, 2013’s Better Together.
During their time as a group, however, Cabello was known for putting out solo music with other artists, such as “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes, which went platinum last year, or "Bad Things" with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, which has already hit Number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Here's to hoping for the best for Camila and the rest of the group!
