24 Comics For When You've Got Depression, But You're Also Hilarious

It's funny because it's real.
British artist Gemma Correll suffers from depression and anxiety, so she knows that there's nothing inherently funny about the daily struggles of living with such mood disorders. However, she finds humor to be a good way of expressing her disorders and it also helps her in dealing with it.
She is a self proclaimed "infamous anti-socialite" slash pug lady. And as you can see below, her illustrations are as funny as they are thought-provoking.
Whether she's highlighting the perils of overthinking, sharing her dread at receiving a phone call, feeling bad for feeling bad, or just stressing about not being stressed, her simple style and witty humor makes us laugh, but it also makes us think.
For anyone who has every struggled with depression, these images will be all too real.
