Did your mouth water when your Bubbe was in the kitchen?
Jewish cuisine is extremely delicious and anyone who loves to keep it kosher can attest to that fact! There are certain recipes that might just blow you away because they turn out to be so tasty! There are other recipes that list off a bunch of ingredients that might sound as though the result would not turn out too amazing-- the results are always amazing though! Cooking Jewish food for friends and family, or even just cooking Jewish food for yourself is always worth the time and effort it takes in the kitchen. There are options such as eggs, beef, lamb, and vegetables that totally play by the rules and then there are other more intricate ideas for a delicious menu! Dumplings made of matzah meal, eggs, and traditionally schmaltz taste great when boiled and served to your loved one within a chicken soup stock. There are also turnovers that can be served with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, onions, ground meat, and cheese! These turnovers can be either baked or deep fried! The options are limitless with the many different ways we can combine food together to create new ideas for new tastes and flavors. Some traditional Jewish foods might be difficult for a non-Jewish individual to say because the spellings on some of the foods are complex! Foods like Kneidlach, Kishke, Mandelbrot, Shlishkes, and Rugelach might throw someone for a loop! Nevertheless, these are amazing foods that everyone should try on the right occasion! Waiting for holidays like Hanukkah isn't always necessary to enjoy some of this cuisine!
