This James Franco SNL Documentary Will Delight All Fans of the Sketch Show

Fans of Saturday Night Live are really missing out on an unknown documentary.

Created by James Franco, Saturday Night follows a week behind the scenes at the iconic sketch comedy show. Viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at how hard the writers, actors, and everyone in between works to keep the show running. Franco follows cast members as they meet with executives, the host of the week (in this case, John Malkovich), and pitch story ideas. This documentary went under the radar for some time, partly due to the fact that it is hard to find online. At a certain point it was on Hulu, and unfortunately for fans, it's no longer available to stream.

Luckily, we've found the long-lost documentary on YouTube and had to share it. If you grew up watching SNL, you'll love following along and seeing a different side of the show. From sleepless nights to nerve-racking table reads, Saturday Night shows the blood, sweat, and tears so many put into one of the most beloved shows on television.

James Franco's documentary is certainly a must-watch movie and we're happy to share it with you. So go ahead, AirPlay it from your laptop, watch on your iPad, or huddle around someone's smart phone, it is so worth it.
