Actor, James Franco is under fire today. The LA Times has released an article, detailing the allegations and the women who are coming forward. Four students, and one mentee claim Franco acted "inappropriately or sexually exploitative". In one encounter, Franco asked a group of struggling actresses “So, who wants to take your shirt off?” Afterwards, Franco was "visibly angry" when no one volunteered.

Sarah Tither-Kaplan, explained a time when a "bonus" scene with Franco. When actresses were selected to appear with the actor, who in the scene, stimulated oral sex on each of them, he removed the clear plastic guard that covered their vaginas and continued to simulate the sex act with no barrier.

Franco Responds

Franco took to late night to address the allegations,

Look, in my life I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I have done,” he told Colbert. “I have to do that to maintain my well being. The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate. But I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice because they didn’t have a voice for so long. So I don’t want to shut them down in any way.”

If I have done something wrong, I will fix it — I have to.”

James Franco joins the ranks of men who have been accused of sexual assault, misconduct, or rape within the entertainment industry. Actresses have recently began a campaign for safe working conditions in every industry, called Time's Up. At the Golden Globe Awards, the attendees wore black in solitary for the cause. Franco walked home with an award for his work in "The Disaster Artist". And that evening, Franco sported a "Time's Up" pin.
