1. Anything by Author, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss
Catherine says: "The Flame and the Flower, Shanna, The Wolf and the Dove… this woman's epic historical romance is what turned me on to reading romance novels."

Catherine says: I loved the whole series, but the first one is a [the perfect mixture of] paranormal with a splash of science fiction.
