Swift fans are dying to know! What will Taylor Swift's new single reputation sound like?
Taylor Swift released details about her new single "Reputation," this week, and now fans are dying to know: What will Taylor Swift's new single Reputation sound like?
Swift has been in the news a lot lately, after deleting her Instagram and then Twitter profile picture recently. The celeb is now blowing up social media and entertainment news outlets with details about her new album.
This is Swift's sixth studio album and she has officially announced the release date, cover art and title of her new single "Reputation." There have also been lots of rumors circulating the internet and Twitter that Swift's sixth album will have a shocking new and totally unexpected sound.
Sources close the the singer revealed, according to Us Weekly, that Swift has yet again reinvented her music. She's gone from country influenced americana to popstar superpower, maybe this album is going to finally lead her into electronic or Hip Hop?
One of the sources said:
“The single is very different. It goes from very soft, to hard, to soft again, Taylor is overhauling her image.”
Another source revealed:
“It doesn’t sound like anything she’s done before. It’s a little unusual. She plays around with new sounds each album cycle, but this one, in particular, stands out.”
However, apparently the song Reputation does build on the pop template from Swift’s last album, 1989.
That evolution is carried over to the first single’s visual, the source added: “The video is definitely eye-catching,”
Only time will tell, but good thing that's only until tomorrow night!

What Will Swift's New Sound Be?
While we can only eagerly await the release of her new single and forthcoming album, there are a few things that we can gather about how Swift's sixth album might deviate from her other albums to date.
One clue are the cryptic snake videos Swift posted this week, on Wednesday morning when she announced her album title on Instagram:
The video show's Swift with her face half-obscured by print headlines of her name and release date of her new album.
Her new album title is no doubt a reference to the incident last July where the music star was caight in a lie after saying she never gave Kanye West the go-ahead for his lyric about her on his song “Famous.”
However, the truth always comes out and this one was revealed on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Swift possibily for the first time in her career recieved A BOAT LOAD of bad press after shamelessly positioning herself as a martyr for so long at Kanye's expense.
During her leave of absence, Swift wasn’t far from the news: she got together with Tom Hiddleston, then broke up with Tom Hiddleston; congratulated Russell Westbrook on his NBA MVP Award; finally released her catalog to streaming services; and, of course, endured an unsavory groping trial that she won earlier this month.
With Reputation, Swift appears ready to resume her role as media victim. The newsprint image is probably not a subtle tribute to Prince, but likely a reference to the way “Taylor Swift” has been dragged through the press. Swift knows as well as anyone how delicate a process managing public perception can be.
Swift told GQ in 2015, where she thinks many celebrities make a misstep:
“a lack of self-awareness was always the downfall. … That seems to be the first thing to go out the door when people find success.”
Perhaps Swift's new Album "Reputation," will have some revelatory gems of self awareness?
