Here's how to disable Instagram story DMs from being sent!
Instagram just announced its new Instagram Story sharing feature, which allows users to share Instagram stories as a direct message to other users. However, many Instagram users want to know How To Turn Off Instagram Story Sharing For Direct Messages
If one of the accounts you follow has sharing enabled for Instagram story DMs, you will see a Direct icon that looks like a white arrow image in the bottom right corner of their Story. All you need to do is tap the arrow and then choose the friend or group to send it to.
If you want to disable this story sharing feature, here's how:
- Tap the settings icon in the upper left-hand corner of the camera screen
- Go to your Story settings to change up sharing permissions.
- Toggle "Story Sharing" off and you're all set!
