Every Year on March 14th we celebrate Pi Day. You know, the mathematical ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter?
Often represented with the Greek letter "π" and commonly approximated as 3.14159, it is also sometimes spelled out as "pi." Hence, the OBVIOUS need to eat lots of pie.
So, in celebration of Pi (3.14) AND also Pie (the delicious circular food), here are some deliciously genius pie recipes you can make to celebrate!
Strawberry Pretzel Pie
Say what?!? It’s so good, though! If you’d prefer a traditional crust, just sub that out instead. It’s also good with a graham cracker crust. Glossy, red, and fabulous!
Kiwi Pie is one of my favorite pies in recent years. It’s cool and refreshing, with the wonderfully weird flavor of kiwi.
Cranberry Gingersnap Pie
Add a pop of color to your dessert table with this beautifully vibrant cranberry gingersnap pie. The gingersnap-walnut crust from this pie will have you asking for seconds.
Grasshopper Pie. You can add a little green food coloring to really up the color. Either way, this is a good one. Throwback to the seventies.
Pecan Pie That'll Make You Cry
Pecan Pie, also known as The Pie That’ll Make You Cry. It is tremendous. One of Marlboro Man’s top 5 favorite things to eat in the universe.
Triple Berry Pi Day Pie
Give any delicious berry pie takes a mathematical spin!
Raspberry Cream Pie
Raspberry Cream Pie. A summer favorite, this one’s good when the weather starts to get unbearable.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pie
For an additional chocolate kick, this Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pie is topped with homemade chocolate whipped cream. If you’d like to take it further, don’t hesitate to drizzle on some melted chocolate!
No Bake Funfetti Pudding Pie
Cake batter lovers rejoice! This No Bake Funfetti Pudding Pie is filled with homemade pudding and topped with a cake batter whipped cream.
Chocolate Pie! It’s not fancy. It’s not gourmet. It’s basic, timeless chocolate pie. And it’s a winner.
Mocha Silk Pie
Mocha Silk Pie. Just like French Silk, but with a little bit of coffee flavor and a nutty crust. Mmmmmm!
Now, go eat some pie and spread some love of Pi!
