Don't you wish you go back to the days when America was young, and pioneers made their way across the country in covered wagons to put up stakes and settle in what would become their permanent homes?
We may have missed that experience by a few generations, but were able to relive it courtesy of author Laura Ingalls Wilder and the show based on her books, Little House On The Prairie.
Little House was much beloved when it aired in the '70s and early '80s and left an indelible mark on a generation. If you remember the show, you remember the characters that made up the town of Walnut Grove, and you may have even related to some as they tackled the issues of the day from the trials and tribulations of homesteading to disease to courtship.
Which character was your favorite? Do you relate more to Half Pint, the adorable tomboy who grew into a sensible young woman? Or were you more of a Nellie Oleson—a spoiled rich kid who eventually became a kinder, gentler adult after meeting the love of her life in Percival? Or are you more like Pa Ingalls, stern when you need to be, but with a heart of gold?
No matter who you related to most, each character offered valuable life lessons and was pretty fun to watch. If you were a Little House On The Prairie character, which one do you think you'd be? Take this quiz to see which resident of Walnut Grove you most resemble.
