"Listen to the wind blow, watch the sun rise..."
Fleetwood Mac has been through more line up changes than most bands in its over five decades of existence, but still retain lasting popularity than most groups will never see!
The Mac came from humble begins in 1960s England and were a blues band who had already been through a few lineup changes before Christine McVie, Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined in the mid-70s. When they did, Fleetwood Mac went from obscure blues group to superstardom! Their first self-titled album saw the release of the smash singles, "Rhiannon," "Say You Love Me," and "Over My Head." But they didn't stop there. They released their legendary album, "Rumours" just a year later which has since become one of the greatest, most compelling pop albums of all time. The record tells the story of the band's fraught and passionate relationships to each other and sold 40 million copies—yes, you read that right! It continues to do well forty years after its release. With singles like "Dreams," "Go Your Own Way," and "Don't Stop," fans, old and new, keep discovering and rediscovering this album!
