With chocolate chips as big as a candy bar, homemade waffle cones, and every flavor you can imagine no other ice cream establishment could possibly stack up. Having a cold ice cream cone on a warm summer night in the heart of downtown is a Centerville must.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose. The Elks stadium is the place to be on crisp, fall Friday nights to cheer on our football team. The school spirit is as dominating as the players are!

The Herd is the greatest student spirit section of all time. It is a sacred tradition run completely by students and each year the seniors in charge select a few juniors to be the next leaders of the Herd. Unlike a regular student section, the Herd has a presence at almost every school event you could possibly imagine - talk about school pride.

5. #5 Bill's Donuts is a genuine tourist attraction.

People come from far and wide to get a taste of the famous Bill's Donuts (or at least we like to think so.) Bill's is continuously named one of the best donut shops in the country and it is the favorite spot to meet up with friends, new and old, 24 hours a day.

Who started and maintains this field, no one can be sure. But we do know that a beautiful field of sunflowers sprouts on Yankee Street for just a few weeks every spring. You better be quick if you want to snag those family photos!

Centerville's Fourth of July starts at 8 AM with a spirited 5K. Then, there's a parade through the town followed by a street fair type celebration. Every member of Centerville is a diehard Marion's fan. Maybe it's the perfectly thin crust or the special sauce, but Marion's is the parlor of choice for team banquets, birthday parties, and dinners out with friends. Of course it's conveniently located across the street from Bill's for a delicious but deadly combo meal.

We are equally embarrassed and proud to admit that our marching band and cheerleaders performed at the grand opening of the Main Street Kroger. Complete with a jewelry store and clothing section, this Kroger was the biggest in the country until Texas had to go and top us. And somehow every night spent with friends ends with a junk food run to Kroger, where you will always see someone you know so be prepared.

12. #12 We all hate on Dayton, but it can actually be pretty cool.
