Jodie Whittacker of Broadchurch fame is the person taking over the titular role of the series, and with three new companions, Tosin Cole as Ryan, Mandip Gill as Yasmin, and Bradley Walsh as Graham.

Of the role, Whittaker said, "It feels completely overwhelming, as a feminist, as a woman, as an actor, as a human, as someone who wants to continually push themselves and challenge themselves and not be boxed in by what you're told you can and can't be. It feels incredible." There are probably more expectations and pressure on Doctor Who season 11 than for any previous season, and fans are going to want to watch it as soon as possible. Will Doctor Who Season 11 Stream On Amazon Prime When It Airs On BBC?

In 2016, BBC signed an exclusive contract with Amazon Prime to be the sole service in the United States to stream it's most popular show, Doctor Who. Both Netflix's and Hulu's contracts expired in February 2016 and Doctor Who has been on Amazon Prime since. By Fall 2016, all 9 seasons available at the time, along with the specials, were on Amazon Prime, and season 10 followed in 2017.

Because of the exclusive contract BBC has with Amazon Prime to stream Doctor Who in the United States, it stands to reason that Doctor Who season 11 will also air on Amazon Prime while it also airs on BBC. Of course, it is always possible that something may change in the next 6 months, but that doesn't seem very likely. Especially considering that Doctor Who is one of the most beloved shows around. You don't have to worry about whether Doctor Who season 11 will be on Amazon Prime or not.
