Isn't it time to meet your favorite romance authors?
While events like San Diego Comic Con have grown in popularity and smaller conventions keep springing up. In fact, there's basically a con for everything nowadays, including romance novels! Fans love being able to interact with the creators of their favorite books, TV shows, movies, games, and more.
Romance conventions are a fun place for readers to be able to meet like-minded fans and fangirl or fanboy over their favorite books and authors. Most cons have panels and author signings, giving fans the opportunity to interact with their beloved authors in a way they normally wouldn't get the opportunity to.
It stands to reason that romance conventions will continue to grow just as other conventions have. Take a look at this list of just a few cons taking place!
Put on by Jennifer L. Armentrout, author of the __ series, ApollyCon is a convention featuring authors of adult, new adult, and young adult writers, social events, book signings, and panels.

Put on by Avon Books and Harlequin, KissCon brings leading romance writers to you in an interactive format, allowing you to interact with them, ask questions, and more!

• When: April 5-7
Romance GenreCon takes place at the Mid-Continent Public Library, a convention that includes a writing conference with romance reader events to follow. 2019 will focus on contemporary romance.

• When: August 1-3
Lone Star LesFic Festival
What started as the Sapphic Reading Group transformed into the Lone Star LesFic Festival. A "reader-hosted and reader-focused event," the free convention boasts a couple dozen popular authors of lesbian fiction.
