1. A Place in the Sun by R.S. Grey
In R.S. Grey's A Place in the Sun, Georgie Archibald is used to her mother's attempts at matchmaking but, when it finally gets to be too much, she's left with only one option: leaving the country. Georgie heads to Vernazza, Italy, a lovely seaside village and plans to lie low for awhile, eating as much gelato and drinking as much wine as she likes.
Then Georgie wakes up next to, Gianluca, a gorgeous man who went out of his way to help her. He wants her to know that he isn't looking for anything, which is fine because Georgie isn't either. 2. One by Brenda Murphy
In Brenda Murphy's One, Mac's life since she left the military has become motorcycles, fast cars, and flings. She's still bitter over her last real relationship and ends new ones before they ever really begin she can't get hurt again. While waiting for her flight back to Italy, Mac helps a desk agent being harassed by a drunk person.
Fellow passenger Lana saw the interaction and offers to buy Mac coffee. Seated together, they spend the flight talking about racing and cars, and Mac finds herself taken with Lana. Rebel Heir, the first book in Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward's Rush Series, is the story of a woman spending her summer in the Hamptons who ends up falling for her boss. Gia sees a hot guy around town and soon enough finds that not only is he her boss, but he also inherited about half the town.
Rush is standoffish in the beginning, but his walls start to crumble over time as they grow closer. Gia curses herself for falling for her, especially since she's leaving at the end of summer. Don't miss the conclusion to Gia and Rush's story, Rush Heart!
4. French Summer by Lise Gold
