Is Teen Mom Catelynn Pregnant Again?
Tyler and Catelynn, both 25, documented their first pregnancy on MTV's 16 and Pregnant. They chose to give their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. In 2015, they welcomed their second daughter, Novalee Reign, on Teen Mom OG.
Catelynn ushers their 3-year-old daughter out to Tyler. She is rocking an "I'm Going to Be a Big Sister" t-shirt.
Is Catelynn From Teen Mom Pregnant In 2018?
However, many fans are wondering if this is, indeed, a happy reveal. Catelynn is currently in Arizona receiving treatment for postpartum depression and anxiety following the birth of her second daughter, and some are suspecting her focus on her mental health may have stemmed from having a miscarriage.
A source told The Ashley, "It is actually really sad. Catelynn got pregnant and surprised Tyler and Nova and then had a miscarriage not long after. That happened right before she went to treatment [in November] when she tweeted about thinking about killing herself."
For all u haters- YOU DONT KNOW EVERYTHING IVE BEEN THROUGH! Quit acting like you know what I should be doing or shouldnt!! I'm NOT running away from my family! Those are the people I love the most!! 😘💪🏻you ppl are ignorant— Catelynn Baltierra (@CatelynnLowell) January 18, 2018
Did Catelynn Lowell Have A Miscarriage?
The source continues, “The crew and production staff heard she was about six weeks pregnant when it happened but no one is 100 percent sure.”
The source suggests that Catelynn spent six weeks in treatment after suffering the miscarriage.
However, this story does get more heartbreaking if true.
“They don’t do voiceovers until the episode is all done and being edited usually, so Catelynn had to talk about trying to get pregnant and then getting pregnant even after she had the miscarriage. We felt badly for her. [The miscarriage] is definitely going to be a big topic on the show. That’s why last week they made sure her voiceover was something like, ‘I’m not telling Tyler I took my birth control out.'”
When she entered rehab for the second time, she told Us Weekly, “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself. On November 17th I thought of every way possible to commit suicide … from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole. Thank God I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER. Thank God I am self aware I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better. Anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! We are all here for a reason.”
Teen Mom OG airs on MTV Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
