Prince Harry and Meghan Markle give their first interview after their engagement.

Roasting a chicken has never been so romantic: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talk about their royal engagement.

Normally, roast chicken conjures up memories of dry meat and bland sides that I've tried to make myself. But now? Roast chicken is 'bout to set my heart aflutter.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with the BBC to give their first interview since His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales asked Meghan Markle to join the royal family.

Prince Harry, the fifth in line to the throne, shared the story of how he asked American actress Markle to be his wife.

The couple became engaged earlier in November during a cozy night in their Kensington Palace cottage.

Lucky for Royalists (which the dictionary defines as a person who supports the monarchy, and I use as a term to describe fans of the Royal family and all the gossip that surrounds them), the happy couple spared no detail in their adorable live interview.

20 minutes?! Who has the time!? No worries, here's a recap of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement interview.

Sit down and pour yourself a "crack baby." (Apparently, that is Kate Middleton and Prince William's favorite drink. It serves no real babies, just vodka, champagne, passionfruit juice, and Chambord. Which is a very fancy drink for such an uncouth name. Royals -- they're just like us!)

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were "trying" to make a roast chicken (very British), Harry felt that the stars had aligned and got down on one knee.

Markle barely let him get through the proposal. She said, "It was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got down on one knee. As a matter of fact, I could barely let you finish proposing. I said, 'Can I say yes now?'"

Harry then said, "There [were] hugs and I had the ring in my finger. I was like, 'Can I give you the ring?' She goes, 'Oh, yes! The ring!' It was a really nice moment. It was just the two of us, and I think I managed to catch her by surprise as well."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also revealed how they met.

The couple met 18-months ago, after being set up on a blind date.

Which leads me to one questions -- where can I get friends who would set me up either with a prince or a beautiful actress??! Where them friends at?!?! The closest I'm getting to a royal engagement is watching The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement for the 27th time.

Markle admitted she didn't know much about the royal family before their blind date. She said, "The only thing I had asked — I had one question — and I said, 'Is he nice?' because if he wasn't kind it didn't seem like it would make sense."

Prince Harry also talked about designing Meghan Markle's ring himself.

Prince Harry chose yellow gold, because he knew it was Markle's favorite, and described using diamonds from his mother's, Princess Diana, jewelry collection.

He said that it was important to "make sure she's on this crazy journey with us together."

Markle admits that the diamonds were important to her, as it's a reminder that Harry's mother is still with them. Despite never being able to meet, Harry believes the two would "be thick as thieves, without question."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be married in Spring 2018.

So, BRB, crying over this interview and eagerly awaiting more cutesy ones to come.
