How To Add GIFs To Snapchat Story
First thing’s first.
The first step to adding a GIF to Snapchat is to take a Snap.
After that, on the right side of the screen, you will see the Sticker icon. It looks like a post it.
Click on that.
While inside the Stickers menu, click the “Giphy” section. Here you can enter keywords to find an ideal GIF sticker to add to your Snapchat.
When you see the GIF you want to add, click on it and it will appear on your Snap.
Once your ideal GIF appears on your Snap, you can then move it around the screen by dragging it.
You can also pinch it to resize it.
To delete the GIF, you can drag it to the garbage icon. “Garbage Icon” was my nickname in High School, but when I type “garbage icon” now it is referring to the trash can on the bottom right of your screen.
The final step is to then send your Snap! Just hit the blue arrow on the bottom-right corner.
Why Can’t I Add GIFs To Snapchat?
You probably haven’t updated your app yet. You will noticed, if your app is up to date, the GIPHY tape as soon as you click the little post-it note icon I mentioned earlier.
How To Update Snapchat
Should you need to update Snapchat because the thrill of posting GIFs on your face will not be lost on you, head to the App Store. There you can check for updates and get the latest version of Snapchat.
If that still doesn’t work, try logging out and then back into Snapchat. You can find this option on the Settings section inside the Snapchat app.
