Did Arie Propose To Lauren? Who Is The Next Bachelorette?
Did Arie Propose To Lauren?
A lot went down last night on the final episode of The Bachelor, and I'm sure you have a lot of questions. Who did Arie choose? Are Arie and Lauren engaged? Who is the next Bachelorette? Is Becca the next Bachelorette? Why didn't Lauren kick Arie in the shins on live TV and tell him how trashy he is?
Why did Arie break up with Becca on live TV in an unedited 30-minute long, torturous scene?
Who Did Arie Choose
Originally, our fuckboy Arie chose Becca K., handing her the final rose and proposing to her on the spot. However, he then broke up with her in order to chase after runner-up Lauren.
Becca, ever graceful and fully deserving of someone better than Arie, said that she forgives him.
But did Lauren? FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, it feels really shitty knowing that you may have been the second choice.
On top of that, he was engaged like last week and now he's trying to propose to you?
In fact — Arie was still engaged when he reached out to Lauren. Ugh.
Are Arie And Lauren Engaged?
"He texted me on New Year's Eve, ‘I think this is maybe crossing the line, but I'd like to talk.'"
On New Year's Eve, Arie? While engaged, Arie? EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GUY IS BAD.
Lauren admits, "I was just afraid he would change his mind again."
YA THINK? Lauren, this is coming from a woman who couldn't get anyone to marry her if she tried, but please listen.
You. Deserve. Better.
Ah, but who am I to get in the way of happiness? Even if he is a literal trash monster.
"I was just like, ‘We need to do it, you need to take the risk if this means a lot to you and you need to follow your heart. If not, then we don't need to talk anymore.'"
So, yes, Arie did propose to Lauren.
And Lauren said yes.
Lauren is moving to Scottsdale, and told PEOPLE that they're both excited about marriage and are already talking about starting a family.
Apparently, the couple that upset Bachelor Nation hasn't gone more than a week without seeing each other since they reunited.
"We tell each other we love each other 1,000 times a day."
Which seems desperate and annoying, but again, who am I to judge? I once broke up with a person because she said that Digimon was better than Pokemon.
"She accepted the fact that I made a huge mistake, and in a crazy way I feel like we're better for it. It took all of this to get here, but I'd do it all over again."
YEAH, of COURSE you would do it all over again. YOU weren't the one being broken up with on national TV, Arie.
Who Is The Next Bachelorette?
It's Becca. And she deserves more. She deserves better and I will fight until my dying breath until she gets it.
Of course, Arie is even taking credit for making her The Bachelorette. He told Good Morning America that he filmed the breakup with Becca so she had a chance to become The Bachelorette.
So, thanks Arie. (That was very sarcastic. I rolled my eyes the entire time I wrote that. HE AIN'T EVEN CUTE, YA'LL. HE AIN'T EVEN CUTE.)
