SPOILER ALERT! All The Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Finale Spoilers!

ABC

It looks like we're in for a dark and twisty night.

Between the anticipation of the impending arrival of Matthew Morrison (most likely as Jo Wilson's abusive husband) and all the Meredith/Maggie/Riggs drama seemingly coming to a roaring boil, this season finale is gearing up to be nothing short of intense.

According to Kevin McKidd - otherwise known as Owen Hunt - who also directed several episodes this season, the season finale will be 'pretty dramatic and pretty intense. It's dark and very good... it's going to be amazing.'

Debbie Allen, the director of the finale, also teased that the finale would be 'hot,' though in the Grey's Anatomy world 'hot' can mean any number of things.

Last night's episode (March 30th) "Be Still, My Soul," was directed by Ellen Pompeo, and was completely centered around Maggie's relationship with her own mother, as compares to Meredith's relationship with Ellis.

According to McCreary, this episode proved to be an inspiring and emotionally taxing experience, for Maggie, and herself as an actress. And it was also an emotionally traumatic experience for us, as viewers, when her mother dies.

Kelly eludes that this episode will impact Maggie in particular throughout the remainder of the season but we are still not certain in what exact way that will be!

Further, the synopsis of Episode 19, "What's Inside," sounds fairly ominous and states: "When Maggie takes on a big case, many of the doctors are worried she's not the right one for the job while Stephanie makes a mistake, treating one of Grey Sloan's own."

This 'mistake' could really blow up in Stephanie's face since we already know that Jerrika Hinton, the actress behind Dr. Stephanie Edwards is leaving Grey Sloan at the end of this season. One thing remains a mystery: her patient! On which of our beloved Grey/Sloan doctors does she make a 'mistake?' And is it fatal!? (Excuse me while my blood pressure sky-rockets with anticipation).

At this point what exactly ends up being 'hot,' 'intense,' 'dramatic,' and 'amazing.' We're not exactly sure, one thing we do know for certain is that it's going to hit us right in the feels.

Tune in to Grey's Anatomy on ABC on Thursdays at 8/7c to watch all the drama unfold!
