Will Betty Die on Grey's Anatomy in Season 15 Episode 14?

Grey's Anatomy certainly knows how to put on a good show. However, that comes at a cost. While we've been drawn in by the drama since the very beginning, we also know that Grey's Anatomy is known for killing off fan-favorite characters like George O'Malley (T.R. Knight), Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), and Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) to name a few. Grey's also killed off Cece (Caroline Clay) earlier in season 15, and a sneak peak at tonight's episode, "I Want a New Drug," makes it seem like we're going to lose one more. But, will Betty die on Grey's Anatomy? Here's what we know so far.

What Happened to Betty on Grey's?

In the clip, which ABC tweeted along with the not-so-subtle "Just know we'll all be in tears tonight" caption, Link (Chris Carmack) carried in a knocked out Betty (Peyton Kennedy) – or Brittany – into Grey Sloan Memorial. Owen (Kevin McKidd), Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), and Betty's parents – including her mother, played by Jennifer Grey – look shocked as a voiceover of Teddy says, "Amelia may never see that little girl open her eyes again." The clip cuts to Amelia bawling her eyes out and fans are left to wonder if it's possible that Betty died.

Unfortunately, we're left as shocked as you are. And what we know isn't exactly the best of news. In ABC's synopsis for the episode, it was revealed that the "doctors are sent scrambling in the wake of a massive overdose within the community."

As much as this disheartens us to say it, we believe that Betty overdosed, considering she is a recovering addict. But, will she make it out alive? It's possible.

Will Betty Appear In Future Episodes?

While Kennedy is listed as a guest star in episode 14, she is not listed as a guest star for the next two episodes, "We Didn't Start the Fire" nor "Blood and Water". However, it's possible that ABC didn't want to give away Betty's fate, so it was a choice not to include her.

One thing that could potentially hint that Betty is going to live is the fact that Jennifer Grey is still listed as a guest star in episode 15. If Betty is meant to die in tonight's episode, then why would they keep Grey around afterward unless there's something to salvage?

While Betty's fate is still uncertain, we hope that she's doing fine – at least for Amelia's sake.
