When Is The 'Grey's Anatomy' Finale For Season 15?
Grey's Anatomy season 15 has been a bumpy ride. But it isn't over just yet. While fans are used to seeing 24-episode seasons, ABC greenlit an extra episode for this season of the Shondaland medical drama. So when is the Grey's Anatomy season 15 finale? Fans are dying to know when they need to start worrying. Because you know that the Grey's team has something big coming. Nobody does a finale quite like Grey's, right?
Luckily, the Grey's Anatomy finale for season 15 won't air until next month. Per Deadline, ABC announced their season finale dates for the 2019 Spring season.
So when does it all go down?
According to the announcement, Grey's Anatomy will air its season 15 finale on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. ET. This means that fans have about five weeks before Grey's wraps up this season and we have to start worrying about what's to come for season 16 in the fall.
Earlier this year, showrunner Krista Vernoff revealed that she wasn't certain on what big event was going to occur during the 15th season finale.
"There are certain stories that I know need to culminate in the finale," Vernoff said in an interview with TV Line. "But in terms of what the event is, I don't know yet."
Vernoff also revealed that by the midseason mark for the previous season the Grey's Anatomy team already knew the season finale would feature three weddings.
Yikes.
So anything could happen then, right? While this makes us a little scared for what's to come in the finale, we know it's going to be, well, big. Or at least we hope so.
Meanwhile, both the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, Station 19, and the Shondaland legal drama, For the People, will be airing their finales on the same night.
