Is Vans Warped Tour Ending In 2018?

Whether you're into bands Blink-182, Paramore, or some obscure-sounding band that you used to listen to in the midst of your teenage angst, you've probably been to Vans Warped Tour, an alternative rock festival that toured across the country that began in 1996. Now, we hear rumors of a possible ending to Vans Warped Tour this year, but are they true? Is Vans Warped Tour ending in 2018? Sadly, we have to confirm. Kevin Lyman, who is the man behind Warped Tour, announced that this year's Warped Tour will be its last. While the emo kid inside all of us cries, Lyman says that all good things must come to an end. However, he's still excited for this last farewell cross-country run.

In his statement, Lyman wrote:

"It will be bittersweet each morning when I see the sun rise and then watch it set knowing that this will be the last time I get to witness it from that exact spot. Though the tour and the world have changed since '95, the same feeling of having the ‘best summer ever' will live on through the bands, the production teams, and the fans that come through at every stop. The enduring spirit of the Vans Warped Tour remains as bright as ever, continuing to inspire creativity and ambition in new and exciting ways as we prepare for a 25th anniversary celebration in 2019. I truly look forward to seeing as many of you as possible during this final cross country run, and getting to thank you for your support on this wild adventure. Until then, take care and be safe."

When Does The Final Vans Warped Tour Start | 2018

Seeing as this is the last Vans Warped Tour, fans are dying to know when Warped Tour starts next year in 2018. Luckily, the tour dates have been released today, so our hearts aren't completely crushed.
