This is it, Teen Wolf fans. The Teen Wolf series finale is finally here, and we couldn't be more excited. While we've been busy with Teen Wolf series finale predictions and spoilers, MTV released the first page of the finale script, which has Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) in a flash forward, tracking down a teenage boy running for his life. Teen Wolf creator and executive producer Jeff Davis exclusively reveals to Women.com why this boy, Alec, is important. So, who is Alec from the Teen Wolf series finale?
How Will The Teen Wolf Series Finale End?
Although we know that the scene is from the first page of the Teen Wolf script, Davis has had the scene in mind for the ending of Teen Wolf for a while now.
"I had an idea of Scott meeting this new young werewolf on the run since about Season 4," Davis said. "That idea, to sort of bring it full circle, to do a sort of flash-forward, was something I've been thinking about for a while, and I'm really glad we got to do it.
It's clear that this scene will reflect the pilot episode, where Scott was the young werewolf on the run for his life from the Argents. We're feeling nostalgic already!
In an interview with the Teen Wolf Wikia Blog, Davis revealed how happy he is with the ending of the series finale.
"It feels like a really good series finale," Davis said. "It carries the message of the show forward. It has a lot to do with this new character Alec played by Ben Wadsworth."
Who Is Alec In The Teen Wolf Series Finale?
So, who is this new young werewolf and why is he important in Teen Wolf? Davis went into detail on Alec's role in the series finale and what the character really represents.
"I think it's sort of the message of the show encapsulated in this character, Alec, who is played by Ben Wadsworth," Davis explained to us. "He's basically the representative of the audience. Scott is saying to us, the audience, 'If you feel like an outsider, if you're different, you can be one of us,' and that is, essentially, the message of the show."
A powerful message for sure.
