Teen Wolf is finally coming to a close after 6 seasons, and a lot of alums are coming back, including fan favorite Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin). However, fans are asking whether or not Kira Yukimura (Arden Cho) will be returning for the series finale of Teen Wolf. Last time we saw Kira, she was going off to train with the Skinwalkers and her romance with Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) was left like an open wound. To many fans, Kira's departure was disappointing, considering her storyline never actually received any closure. So, will Kira Yukimura return in the Teen Wolf series finale?
In an interview with TV Line, executive producer, Jeff Davis promised, "We're going to have some appearances in the final season of people you haven't seen in a long time."
While that is exciting news for most Teen Wolf fans, we aren't entirely sure if this is good news for fans of Kira. As TV Line pointed out, Arden left right before the start of Teen Wolf Season 6, which means actors like Crystal Reed, who played Allison Argent, have a greater chance of a comeback than Arden.
Arden also revealed through her YouTube channel that she would not return to Teen Wolf in Season 6.
Arden said, "I loved my experience on Teen Wolf. I love the cast and crew, it's been an amazing three-and-a-half years. It's gone by so fast, but unfortunately, it looks like we are wrapped up with Kira's storyline and she won't be coming back for Season 6."
While this is sad for any Teen Wolf fan, the news just keeps getting sadder. The official Teen Wolf Twitter account tweeted that Kira will NOT be returning for the Teen Wolf series finale.
