Shonda Rhimes Says Grey's 13th Season Finale Is 'On Fire'
And we're feeling very scared.
Any Grey's Anatomy fan knows that it wouldn't be Grey's without all the crazy tragedies The plane crash and shooting episodes, anyone? It comes to no shock to us that Season 13 will end with a bang, considering the surprisingly tame episodes thus far. But we're also pretty terrified to see what Shonda has cooked up for the rest of the season.
It looks like things are about to get hot at Grey Sloan Memorial. (And not in a sexy way.) Longtime showrunner of Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes, revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the season finale of the medical drama will be heated, claiming:
Then when asked whether or not she was setting the hospital on fire, Rhimes continued to keep us guessing.
"I don’t know about that" she said, coyly.
Oh boy! But, what does this all mean, Shonda! Quit toying with us! We need more! Will the hospital burn to the ground? Will there be another explosion? We need answers! The finale night is too far away for you to torture us like this!
Fellow showrunner, Debbie Allen, who also directed the finale episode did not help ease the fears of the fans. She made it pretty clear for fans to prepare themselves.
It looks like we're in for one wild night come May 18th! But please PLEASE don't kill any of our favorites off, Shonda and Debbie! We can't take it! And we'll be sweating in our seats until the very end.
But, at least Allen also offered hope for the show's upcoming "spectacular" 14th Season, explaining that they are "planting some seeds that you won’t see coming, but you will be waiting to see how it’s all going to play out."
As excited as we are for the new season, we're absolutely terrified for the end of this one!
What do you think will happen in the season finale??
