Sara Ramirez Lands Her First Post-Grey's Anatomy Role
Are you ready for this news, Grey's Anatomy fans? Sara Ramirez, who played the badass Ortho God, Callie Torres, on the hit ABC show is returning to television! However, it looks like Ramirez won't be scrubbing in anytime soon, shattering the hearts of Grey's Anatomy fans everywhere who were hoping for a Callie Torres return to Grey's Anatomy. Ramirez will be joining the CBS drama, Madam Secretary, as a series regular.

For those of you wondering when Ramirez will be on Madam Secretary, she's expected to make her debut on Sunday, November 17.
Who Will Sara Ramirez Play On Madam Secretary?
Ramirez's character is a woman called Kat Sandoval, who is a famous political strategist in D.C. who abruptly dropped out of politics. That is until Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) manages to coax her back into the game. Ramirez's new role will replace Bebe Neuwirth, who played McCord's former chief of staff, Nadine Tolliver.
Will Sara Ramirez Return To Grey's Anatomy As Callie Torres?
It definitely doesn't look like Ramirez will be returning to Grey's Anatomy anytime soon. After showrunner Krista Vernoff mentioned that Ramirez wouldn't reprise her role as Callie Torres for Grey's Anatomy Season 14 and now, with the news of her new role as a series regular on Madam Secretary, we definitely think that Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) will continue to have some fun without her ex on Grey's Anatomy. But, we're hoping that Ramirez returns to Grey's for one last hurrah before the series ends.
