Olaplex No. 6 Is Your New Favorite Leave-In Creme to Repair Frizz & Add Hydration
Olaplex No. 6 is coming soon – here's what you need to know!
Hello, Beautiful Hair! Olaplex Launches Your Next Favorite Leave-In Creme
I am a true believer in the Olaplex system. When I bleached my jet black Asian hair to blonde, Olaplex saved my hair from becoming a damaged mess. While No. 1 Bond Multiplier and No. 2 Bond Perfector are applied at the salon, when No. 3 Hair Perfector was released at retailers for at-home use, my (hair) life changed – and for me, it was worth the money.
Earlier this month, the company revealed that they would be releasing Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother, a leave-in treatment formulated to get rid of frizziness and promote hydration. And yes, I am so excited.
"💥It’s official! 💥We are excited to announce our newest product: OLAPLEX No°6 Bond Smoother," the company wrote in a caption on Instagram when announcing Olaplex No. 6. "Leave-in reparative styling cream that eliminates frizz, hydrates, and protects!✨"
While Olaplex fanatics are excited about the Bond Smoother, they've been left wondering what the major differences are between other steps in the line.
From a quick glance, it appears that this is the first leave-in treatment that can be doubled as a styling product.
In a statement to Allure, Olaplex revealed that No. 6 is meant to "strengthen and moisturize, speed up blow-drying time, and control flyaways for up to 72 hours."
