What is in Starbucks' new Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino?
The new Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino Creme is a fresh take on a classic Frapp recipe with a classic layered look found in many popular seasonal Frapps abroad like the Summer Berry Panna Cotta Frapp.
To make this deliciously tropical Frapp, strawberry prickly pear fruit puree, which gives the drink its magenta color, is added on top of the Mango Frappuccino Blended Creme base, rather than an espresso base. Then, another layer of the strawberry prickly pear fruit puree is added to achieve the layered look.
The Berry Prickly Pear Frappucino has a strong strawberry flavor, mixed with subtle hints of hibiscus, passionfruit, and lime.
