Unless you've been living under a rock these past few days, you've probably heard of the new June 2017 Snapchat feature called Snap Map. And while this new feature can be tons of fun and let you know what is going on in the area, we caution you to be as safe as possible when using it, too! Especially because the Snapchat Snap Map does not notify you if someone takes a screenshot of your location. But, even if you are in Ghost Mode, you can still take a Snap Map screenshot and send it to your friends!
How Do I Send Snap Chat Screenshots To My Friends?
1. Screenshot Your Phone Screen
This step is extremely simple. Go into Snap Map and screenshot your phone screen as usual.
On the iPhone, you press down the Sleep/Wake button on the side of your phone and Home button at the same time.
On an Android phone, you can hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the volume-down button at the same time.
Viola you have a screenshot!
2. Click "Screenshot! Tap To Edit!"
Once you have taken a screenshot of something on Snap Map, a button at the top of your screen will say "Screenshot! Tap to edit." Once you have clicked this, the typical Snapchat edit screen will pop up. Now, you'll be able to edit your screenshot!
3. Send Your Screenshot To A Friend
Once you're done editing, simply send your screenshot Snap to a friend (or friends) via Snapchat!
See? Easy as pie!
