How Much Does Ellen Pompeo Make? | 2018
Ellen Pompeo has played Dr. Meredith Grey in the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy since 2005. Today, she is one of television's highest-paid actresses. But, how much does Ellen Pompeo make in 2018? What is Ellen Pompeo's net worth now that it's 2018? What is Ellen Pompeo's salary? Recently, Ellen spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about a deal she recently signed that will make Grey's fans very happy while revealing how much money she'll make every year for her work on Grey's Anatomy.

How Much Does Ellen Pompeo Make?
Wondering how much Ellen Pompeo makes for every episode of Grey's Anatomy? Here's the breakdown. Ellen Pompeo recently signed a new deal with ABC Studios that will give her $20 million per year. That means that she will be making about $575,000 per every episode of Grey's. She'll also receive a percentage of the television show's profits as well as support from ABC for her production company, Calamity Jane.
And yes, we believe she deserves every cent.
In her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ellen said, "I'm 48 now, so I've finally gotten to the place where I'm OK asking for what I deserve, which is something that comes only with age...The truth is, anybody can be good on a show season one and two. Can you be good 14 years later? Now, that's a f------ skill."

Ellen also touched on being a woman and asking for what you deserve in the workplace.
"Now, maybe it's my Irish Catholic upbringing, but you never want to [be perceived as] too greedy. Or maybe it's just that as women, that's our problem; a guy wouldn't have any problem asking for $600,000 an episode," Ellen said. "And as women, we're like, 'Oh, can I ask for that? Is that OK?' I'd call Shonda and say, 'Am I being greedy?' But CAA compiled a list of stats for me, and Grey's has generated nearly $3 billion for Disney. When your face and your voice have been part of something that's generated $3 billion for one of the biggest corporations in the world, you start to feel like, 'OK, maybe I do deserve a piece of this.'"
Showrunner Shonda Rhimes also gave Ellen this bit of advice: "Decide what you think you're worth and then ask for what you think you're worth. Nobody's just going to give it to you."
So, take a note from Ellen and Shonda, ladies. Don't be afraid of asking for more. You decide what you are worth.

Is Ellen Pompeo Leaving Grey's Anatomy?
So, what is included in her new deal? Does this mean Ellen is moving away from Grey's? Is Ellen Pompeo leaving Grey's Anatomy? Well, fans will be happy to know that Ellen's 20 million dollar deal with ABC includes two more seasons of Grey's Anatomy.
Yes, Grey's fans! This means that Grey's Anatomy will be getting seasons 15 and 16 at least. Take that, ER!
Ellen will also become a producer on Grey's as well as a co-executive producer on the upcoming Grey's Anatomy firefighter spinoff.
So, no. Ellen Pompeo is not leaving Grey's Anatomy anytime soon.
