Episode 6 Is Titled "Flowers Grow Out of My Grave"

While Shondaland has kept things pretty quiet so far, ABC recently released the synopsis and episode title for the sixth episode, which will premiere on Thursday, November 1, at 8/7c on ABC.

Now, we're always scared when Grey's episodes revolve around death. Most of the time, it means that someone is about to die or at the very least, something very big is about to happen. And, boy, does it feel like something is about to come in like a cannonball and emotionally destroy us all.

Grey's Anatomy 'Flowers Grow Out of My Grave' Synopsis

While the title itself gives us chills on its own, it's the description of the episode that really gets to us. We can already tell you that major things will happen in the episode, and we're equally excited as we are afraid.

According to the synopsis, Meredith will have a patient whose family is celebrating Día de Muertos (or Day of the Dead). But, here's the kicker. This causes the doctors at Grey Sloan to remember loved ones they have lost. Richard also shares "unexpected news" with Meredith in regards to her father, Thatcher.

Meanwhile, Teddy finally tries to tell Owen that she is pregnant with his baby. However, it doesn't seem to go as planned.

Jo also tries to encourage Link to pursue one of the doctors at Grey Sloan.

That was a lot. Now, it's time to unload with us.

Our Thoughts Coming In

Cue the tears. We aren't ready for this. So, there's a chance we're going to see doctors that we have lost like Derek Shepherd, George O'Malley, Lexie Grey, and more.

As of now, we know nothing about fan-favorite guest stars returning for the episode. So, we can only imagine that there will be flashbacks. And with Thatcher coming back into the picture, can we see Meredith remembering Lexie? Or perhaps a few memories of Derek as she moves on, similar to those that we've seen in the past when she first started to see Riggs?

We're also getting a little worried about Teddy and Owen. Since this is the first episode that has Teddy trying to tell Owen, that means that episode 5 is filled with more...filler. And it's possible that Grey's drags it on even further, seeing as the two get sidetracked.

Then, there's Jo and Link. Remember how awkward that was in episode 4? Yeah, we bet Alex Karev does, too. Who knows what's going to happen now. But, we're definitely going to watch. Will you?
