Grey's Anatomy Season 15 Episode 6 Spoilers: Deceased Characters WILL Return

This article contains spoilers regarding the Nov. 1 episode of Grey's Anatomy

We don't think you're ready for this news, Grey's Anatomy fans. Because we certainly weren't. Ever since showrunner Krista Vernoff's return to the series, we've been feeling the nostalgia hits, from throwaway lines to major plot points. And now, we've got to get ready for a big one.

On November 1, the Grey's episode entitled "Flowers Grow Out of My Grave," will have Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and the rest of the doctors at Grey Sloan remembering loved ones that they have lost. That left fans to speculate whether or not their favorite series regulars would be returning to the screen this season.

Now, we have confirmation that this episode will be about deceased characters. However, there is one catch that fans won't be too happy about.

On Wednesday, TV Line revealed that "an upcoming episode will pay tribute to a number of deceased characters, although, sadly, it will do so without the assistance of their portrayers."

This basically means that the new episode also won't include newly filmed scenes from their favorite characters.

And while we are seriously upset with that news, it's possible that TV Line released who might be featured in old flashback footage, as "the episode will not include any new footage of 'dearly departed' T.R. Knight (who played George), Chyler Leigh (Lexie) or Eric Dane (Mark)."

We have so many questions. We don't know where to begin.

Will the new episode feature include old scenes of George, Lexie, and Mark or will those three characters not be featured at all, instead of giving fans old footage of characters like Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey)?

We're not going to lie, now that we know that we won't get any new scenes of new characters, any flashback will do, especially if it's done like Derek's flashback sequence in season 14.

But, now that we think of it, perhaps it's time that fans remember characters other than Derek.

Whatever happens, we know we're in for some major tears on Nov. 1st.
