Now that the holidays are rolling around and we're dying to find out when our favorite medical drama returns with the next all-new episode, we have a glimpse of what's coming. After the winter finale, ABC released the first Grey's Anatomy season 15 episode 9 promotional trailer.
And while the teaser was short and didn't give us too many details, including the highly anticipated air date of the episode, there's plenty to get excited about.
So we're here to break it down so that you don't go crazy without your Grey's fix for the next few weeks.
Are you ready?

The Promo Breakdown
Are you excited, Grey's fans?
Because you shouldn't be. We still have weeks before a new episode comes out.
Jokes aside, this teaser doesn't give away much info. In fact, it feels like we got next to nothing. But, we still have a few things to work with.
The trailer opens up with a narrator telling us not to worry and that Grey's Anatomy will be back sooner than you think.
As of now, there's no release date just yet.
So, can we stay calm? The answer is no. These are Grey's fans we're talking about here!
Regardless, it looks like ABC is waiting on announcing an air date for their spring 2019 lineup. So we're going to have to wait.
However, ABC tells us that it's sooner than we think. So can we hope for an earlier release date than last year's January 18? Probably not, but a girl can hope. Right?
And while we didn't get an official winter premiere date, we got a few snippets of drama that we're dying to get our hands on.
It appears that the winter premiere of Grey's will continue where it left off in the November finale, with our favorite doctors stuck in the elevators of Grey Sloan Memorial.,
And yes, they still face some pretty awkward time together.
First, we see Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) together as Meredith exclaims, "We gotta get out of here."
While we know that she's probably concerned about her patient, who is also stuck in another elevator, we can't help but notice the way that DeLuca's eyes wander back onto Meredith.
Are you here for the MerLuca ship? Because it's about to set sail.
Next, we see Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Teddy (Kim Raver) face a perplexed-looking Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) in an awkward and tense elevator scene of their own.
When we left off, Teddy just told Owen that she was pregnant with his baby and Amelia walked in.
Is this the moment where Grey's Anatomy bursts Owen and Amelia's happy co-parenting bubble? We certainly hope so.
