Grey's Anatomy Season 15 Episode 3 Recap: 10 Times We SCREAMED
WHERE. IS. JACKSON??
Grey's Anatomy Season 15 Episode 3 Recap: Gut Feeling
Tonight's episode unfolded more drama and we know that a storm is brewing for next week's two-hour crossover event with Station 19. And you bet, we are beyond excited.
Ready for tonight's recap of Grey's Anatomy season 15 episode 3? The episode entitled 'Gut Feeling' had us on the edge of our seats as we watched Karev (Justin Chambers) grow as chief and Maggie (Kelley McCreary) dealt with Owen (Kevin McKidd), Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), and Jackson (Jesse Williams).
And speaking of...where the hell is Jackson?
Did we worry you? Because you should be. Here is our recap of tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy!
1. Anytime Owen and Amelia Were Happy Together
We all know what's coming. It's been creeping up on us since the end of season 14. It's honestly painful to watch Owen and Amelia being all cute when we know that Teddy (Kim Raver) is coming in soon to burst their bubble.
And to be honest, after the past few episodes, we aren't sure who we're rooting for more. Amelia or Teddy? We'll wait for this one to unfold.
2. We Miss You, Too, Ben Warren!
Did anyone else scream when they saw Ben (Jason George)? After his departure as a series regular for his role on Station 19, we haven't seen much of Ben on Grey's. So, we're always pleasantly surprised whenever he shows up on our screens.
But also, please come back to Grey's!
3. Alex Karev Coming in as Chief
Let's get real. Alex coming in with Jo (Camilla Luddington) was hilarious. Especially as we saw Bailey (Chandra Wilson) attemping to let go of her former position just to pass it on to one of her babies.
4. Everyone Thirsting Over DeLuca
Is it just me or is Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) looking hella fine recently? Especially in this episode? We were definitely there when our girls Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Maggie, and Amelia were all staring at DeLuca as he arrived on his motorcycle.
And then the scene with Maggie at the end of the episode. So little was said. But so much happened. Ugh our hearts.
5. And Also Link. And Nico.
Let's just sit back and enjoy the eye candy, shall we? Sure, they're no McDreamy or McSteamy, but you have to admit that Link (Chris Carmack) and Nico (Alex Landi) are total babes who lightened up this episode. A lot.
We're liking these new additions. So far.
6. Anytime CeCe Was On Screen
Ever since we first saw her in the premiere, we loved her. CeCe (Caroline Clay) is honestly such a gem. We love her for forcing Mer out of her comfort zone and for having her realize she needs to get ready for soemthing new!
But also, please don't kill her off, Shonda. PLEASE.
7. What's Up with Jackson? WHERE IS JACKSON??
We're honestly getting a little worried for Jackson. After the premiere and April's (Sarah Drew) departure, he's been acting super weird. Now, he just got up and left. And he left Maggie.
We know Jesse Williams has to come back to the show. He's not officially off, but our hearts seriously dropped every time that Maggie said, "He left."
8. Webber's Entire Storyline During the Episode
My how the tables have turned. Webber's actions during this episode were honestly unacceptable. We love him. He's basically the dad of Grey's, but he antagonized a patient and he insisted that the patient was an alcoholic. He even poured out a freaking glass.
Karev telling Webber (James Pickens Jr.) off for antagonizing a patient was so crazy. For all of us.
Luckily, it looks like it's all good now. But, we're still a little concerned for Webber this season.
9. All the Maggie/Owen/Amelia Drama in the OR
Maggie trying to meddle was so funny. We knew it wasn't going to end well for her, but she just did it anyway. But, we can't completely blame her since she's in a tricky situation. On one hand, she's probably freaking out over Jackson. On the other, she is freaking out that her sister's boyfriend is having a baby with his best friend and no one knows except for her.
Regardless, the drama of it all was great, but we lived when Owen said that he wasn't going anywhere.
Maggie might have believed him, but we're not so sure just yet.
10. When Jo Came Crawling Back to Meredith
A little moment, but we loved it all the same. It was so cute and hilarious when Jo came up from behind Meredith Grey and whispered, "I miss you," and tried to get back on her service.
Honestly, we want that, too.
Make it happen, ABC!
11. The MerLex Talk
Real talk. Alex and Meredith have the best friendship ever. They don't get a lot of scenes together without other characters like Jo and Bailey, so it was nice to have, especially because they were hyping each other up.
12. Alex Putting the Hammer Down
While Korackick's (Greg Germann) scene with Dr. Roy (Rushi Kota) reminded us of old times when our favorite original interns screwed up, Alex stepping up to fire Dr. Roy was even better.
The whole episode had Alex doubting his ability to be Interim Chief, and we're so happy he's coming into his own. It'll be interesting to see where this goes in season 15.
Are you excited for next week's crossover event? Did you love tonight's episode?
