'Grey's Anatomy' Teased Next Week's Episode & We Legit Got Chills
Last week's heart-wrenching episode of Grey's Anatomy got us right in the feels. The Grey's family collectively let out a huge sigh after we found out that Betty (Peyton Kennedy) was going to make it out alive after a huge overdose. But, it looks like Grey's Anatomy has more in store for us. When ABC released the new teaser trailer for Grey's Anatomy season 15 episode 15, titled "We Didn't Start the Fire," Grey's fans took notice that the trailer was unlike anything they had seen before. We knew that this episode was going to be record-breaking. However, we certainly didn't expect this kind of trailer.
Curious? We are, too. Watch the trailer below – and trust us, you're going to get chills after the first sentence. Grey's Anatomy is making history – and they know it.
'Grey's Anatomy' Season 15 Episode 15 Trailer: We Didn't Start the Fire
Our Trailer Breakdown
So, the big takeaway from the trailer? We didn't get any new info about the 332nd episode. However, the trailer contained a few extraordinary quotes laced in with sequences of Grey Sloan and a voiceover by our favorite doctor, Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo).
The trailer begins with the very first line uttered on Grey's Anatomy "Each of you comes here today, hopeful, wanting in on the game," Richard Webber said. And yes, we immediately got chills.
Following that came some of our favorite lines, such as Meredith's "Pick me, choose me, love me," Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) "I have 5 rules, memorize them," Jo (Camilla Luddington) asking Alex (Justin Chambers) to marry her, and Bailey promptly saying "People love us, that's cause to celebrate."
Meanwhile, Pompeo's voiceover said, "You know that old saying, 'If these walls could talk.' Join us as Grey's Anatomy becomes the longest-running prime time medical show on television. because after 332 episodes, we still have so much more to say."
While we wish that all of our favorite characters could have lasted as long as this groundbreaking moment, we're excited for the Grey's Anatomy team and for this episode, especially since we know that Wilson is directing it.
Plus, it seems incredibly appropriate that Meredith broke the hospital record for longest surgery in last week's episode, "I Want a New Drug," when Grey's Anatomy is about to break a major record of their own. Classic.
Wondering what's going down on the episode? We have a few details for what's to come here.
