But first, sheet mask.

Why You Should Try FaceTory Branded Masks

I'm a firm believer in face masks. No matter what life throws at you (or your skin), there's nothing that a good face mask can't cure. You just have to find the right ones.

Earlier this year, I got to try out FaceTory, and I quickly fell in love. Not only did I get to try out a bunch of new Korean sheet masks every month, I got to do it from the comfort of my own home. And that, my friends, is what I do to treat myself. Simple.

Now, FaceTory is making branded masks of their own. Yes, the beauty brand has been busy crafting a collection in-house for its customers. And according to FaceTory's website, all of their branded products are "carefully created and tested" by the brand's curators and formulated for different skin types and problems.

Don't want to go out of your way to try out new masks? Don't worry. FaceTory, as always, thought of their customers first. FaceTory actually releases their branded masks in all of their monthly subscription boxes before they're released to the general public, via their collection shopping page. So, subscribers always get to try their latest branded mask first.

Curious about the FaceTory branded masks? I tried a few masks from the branded collection for myself.

I Tried FaceTory Branded Masks—First Impression Review

FaceTory was kind enough to send me three months worth of their Seven Lux boxes to try out their branded face masks. As each month contained a branded sheet mask, I tried out three to review: Moon Velvet, Let's Talk Detox, and Ace That Face. Here are a few of my first impressions:

Let's Talk, Detox Mask:

As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, the detox mask was the one I was most looking forward to. And it did not disappoint. While it tingled a bit and the mask material was a bit thicker than I like my sheet masks, the formula was solid and my skin felt more refreshed after one use. I will be back for more.

Moon Velvet Moisturizing Cream Mask:

After hearing good things about this mask, I wanted to like it. I really did. But, I just don't think this mask was made for my skin. Again, the mask itself was a bit thicker than what I'm used to. However, so was the formula. The mask was far too hydrating for my already-oily skin, and I was left feeling a little overwhelmed and sticky. The Moon Velvet Mask is definitely designed for people with dryer skin.

Ace That Face Collagen Mask:

I thought that the detox mask would be my favorite, but I suppose the lesson learned here is to never assume. I really enjoyed this collagen mask. The sheet was thin and fit my face seamlessly. Plus, the formula really surprised me—in a good way. My skin felt hydrated and I looked like I was glowing. My boyfriend even complimented my skin the morning after. So, overall, this one was a win in my book.

Q & A With FaceTory

Still curious about FaceTory's branded masks? Here's a quick Q & A with the beauty brand.

Why Did FaceTory Decide to Make Their Own Sheet Masks?

We wanted sheet masks to be less intimidating and more accessible to those with no knowledge about K-beauty. We really wanted to make sure that our masks would have the affordability and beautiful packaging that K-beauty products are known to have.

How Do You Choose The Right Ingredients?

When creating our masks, we find the best variety of ingredients that are great for all skin types but are also effective in targeting the many skin concerns that people have.

What Sets The FaceTory Branded Masks Apart From Other Masks?

FaceTory branded sheet masks focus on simple (yet effective) ingredients in our masks. The latest and greatest Korean masks can be a bit overwhelming to Western consumers who may have just discovered K-beauty and have yet to explore it.

How Many Branded Masks Are You Planning To Make?

We have a sheet mask planned for each month and they are revealed in our monthly subscription plans. Our subscribers are always the first to try them. The newest mask we have in store for March will be a beautiful foil mask. Can't wait for you to see it!

Do Customers Have A Favorite Branded Face Mask So Far?

We've been getting a lot of positive feedback about all the masks we've released so far. Sunbae, Woah that H20, and the most recently released Moon Velvet Moisturizing Mask are our current fan favorites.

Will We Ever See A Branded-Only Subscription Box?

As of right now, we do not plan on creating a subscription box of only FaceTory branded sheet masks. Many of our fans appreciate the variety of brands that we feature in our boxes. By offering a variety of masks, we are able to share our own FaceTory masks as well as tried-and-true favorites from other great brands!
