2017 AMAs Predictions
Gold Derby's predictions for the 2017 American Music Awards suggest that either The Chainsmokers or Imagine Dragons will win Favorite Pop/Rock Duo or Group. While neither band has won in this category before, we expect this one to be pretty close for that top spot.
Gold Derby also predicts that Soul/R&B Female Artist could go to either Beyonce or Rihanna. While this is Beyonce's 10th bid at the AMAs, Rihanna has won six out of eight of her previous nominations. However, Gold Derby states that Beyonce has leading odds to win the category.
Beyond The Stars Magazine makes a number of predictions, but amongst them, they expect Ed Sheeran to take Artist of the Year, Niall Horan to take New Artist of the Year, and Bruno Mars to take Video of the Year with "That's What I Like." However, they disagree with Gold Derby's Soul/R&B Female Artist by predicting that Kehlani will be the one to come out on top.
Deliberate Magazine predicts that Bruno Mars will take Artist of the Year while agreeing with Gold Derby's prediction that Beyonce will take the Soul/R&B category.
